F.A.C.S. (Facial Acting Coding System

“The face is the mirror of the soul“.

As it is known, the expression of our emotional reactions occurs not only through, more conscious and controlled verbal modes of communication but primarily through nonverbal displays, readable on our face and on our gestures.

For this reason, in collaboration with the Department of Communication Psychology of the Catholic University of Milan, we have developed “LIKE“, an innovative tool that allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of communications starting from facial expressions.

Through a video camera, placed on the top of the screen (webcam), nonverbal behaviors of the subjects during the use of communication are filmed and analyzed using a specific Software based on the BCS method (Behavioural Coding System), liking, novelty signals and level of attention exhibited
